Our specially selected wines taste different from their conventional counterparts.
Shelf wines can be heavily sterilized with sulphites and mass-produced using thickeners, dyes, flavouring, and GMO yeast. They can also contain lots of sugar and alcohol.
With our wines from Moldova, you’ll notice a natural, refreshing taste right away. They are vibrant and full of life, teeming with polyphenols and wild yeast. This gives them bright character and subtle complexity.

We import all of our natural wines from well-established international prize winners wineries.
High quality technologies were developed with many years of experience. Every wine we source is crafted from sustainable, traditional methods and lab tested for quality, all the certificates are available.
All our wineries have their vineyard, so the quality of the grape is under strict quality control.

We want to deliver high-quality, authentic wines for our members, and independent lab tests are the best way to ensure that.
Wine is not required to have a contents label on the bottle. As one of the only major food groups without a content label, consumers are left in the dark about what is in their wine.
The only way to really know what is in your wine is to send a sample to an independent lab to analyze it. You can be sure of the high quality of our wines.

Chateau de Velvet selects and delivers you six authentic bottles from the vineyards of Moldova. Every month. For as long as you want: 1 month, 6 months, 12 months. Because with more than 30 different indigenous Moldovan grapes and a variety of internationally renowned ones flourishing in Moldova there’s a lot to discover.

But: it’s not for everyone. It’s only for people with great taste.

To place an order for amazing Moldovan wines from the catalogue you will only need to create an account, so we make sure the box is delivered to the right address and on time. 

For a regular subscription to receive surprise mix of wine bottles ( 1  months,  6 months or 1 year ) you will need to create an account and to pay for a  membership. There is no required commitment. You can cancel at a certain period for any reason ( please see cancellation policy in FAQ) . This can be done in your account settings.

You can cancel at a certain time ( see subscription conditions), for any reason.
Monthly subscription – cancel any time before the 20th of each month.
6 months subscription – cancel any time after 3 months subscription before the 20th of each month.
12 months subscription – cancel any time after 6 months subscription before the 20th of each month.

You can update your credit card information whenever you’d like in our Account Manager.

To view your account settings and manage your preferences at any time, the best place to go is your online account portal, which you can access from our website.

Once you log in, you’ll find all your account details, including your delivery schedule, subscriptions, shipping address, billing information, and view your purchase history.

To change the email associated with your account, just email info@chateaudevelvet.com with your request!

Let us know the old email address as well as the new one, and we can handle the change for you.

Wine orders will typically take up to 5 business days to process. You’ll get an email confirmation when your order is received and another email when your order is being shipped!

To gift someone a subscription, start by selecting a club membership option here. Then, enter the gift recipient’s name & address under the shipping information, and put your name, address, and payment details under the billing information. And the Feel Great promise is sent!

Note: You will be prompted to choose an email for the account. We suggest using your email for the account and then forwarding along with any important shipping info about the package to the gift recipient.

You can order one bottle in the luxury section. The wines that are included in the monthly selection are sold on boxes of 6. We promise you’ll love every bottle in your shipment.

By the way, if 6 bottles are too much, find a few friends and family members to split your first box with. You can even throw your tasting party for the occasion!

If you’re looking for a one-time order, you can cancel after you place your first order in your account settings. Cancelling is very easy; there are no fees or any questions asked.

We only offer our wines through our website and ship directly to your door.

You can always check the status of your order in one of two places:

1. Your online account (if you have a membership with us); or
2. The status emails we send after you order.

Typically, our orders take up to 5 business days to pack by hand.

Once you place your order, we’ll take 5 business days to hand pack it. Then, we’ll send you a tracking email when your wines leave our warehouse.
After they ship, your wines take from 2 to 5 business days to be delivered.
